It was the vision of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Spain, the founder of the Society of Jesus that sustained Jesuit schools for four centuries. It is the same vision that gives them even now their distinctiveness (characteristics) to run Rosary school, Vadodara.

The Pre-Primary section which is part and parcel of Rosary School is a foundational period for the children’s education. In this section, the teachers are seen making the teaching-learning process more interesting, children-centred and enriching. The teachers are committed to nurturing young minds with love, care, creativity, and confidence in a safe, joyful, and child-friendly environment. Inspired by strong moral and Christian values, they foster curiosity, communication skills, compassion, and a lifelong love for learning, empowering every child to grow into a happy, responsible, confident, and caring individual who is ready to make a positive difference in the world. In each class room of the said section, the management has set up this year Smart T Vs/Interactive Boards which, I believe, will supplement and complement the learning more effective and fruitful.
The Higher Secondary Section from Std. IX to XII is a relevant and significant section of the school. The results in the board exams down the years have been highly commendable and praiseworthy. This is a clear indication of the effectiveness of the teachers who have been making the teaching –learning in the class room more interesting and result-oriented.
The Primary section is an important segment as far as the integral development of the students is concerned. It is during this period of schooling that the children are able to pave their foundation for learning, discipline and growth. It is here, I believe their real character is being built up and shaped. The teachers in this section are seen making all their efforts to enable the children to grasp and move forward.
There are around 1134 students together in Gujarati and English medium in the primary section. Round the year, along with academics, various activities are conducted to foster the all-round development of the students
Keeping in view of the NEP, the activities include skating, robotics, dancing, football, basketball, Cricket, Zumba and music to name a few. We also conduct declamation for grade 7 and 8 elocution for grades 5 and 6 storytelling for grades 3 and 4 and poetry recitation for grades 1 and 2 and many such activities. Rosary Parivar has 34 committed teachers in the primary section.
The Rosary Old Students Association (ROSA) is the official alumni body of Rosary School, bringing together generations of Rosarites connected by a shared foundation of learning, values, and lifelong friendships.
ROSA seeks to foster a vibrant and engaged alumni community that stays connected with one another and with the school. It serves as a platform for networking, mentorship, professional collaboration, and meaningful engagement while preserving the rich traditions and legacy of Rosary School.
Our alumni are among our greatest ambassadors. Their achievements across diverse professions and walks of life reflect the education, character, and values nurtured within the walls of our alma mater. Through ROSA, we celebrate these accomplishments and encourage alumni to remain an active part of the Rosary family.
Rosary school has completed 80 glorious years reaping laurels in the all the fields: Education, Academic, Sports and Co-curricular activities. Each year brilliant students have passed through the portals of Rosary to the University. With the results that Rosary old students have a major quota among the leading doctors, engineers, architects, business executives.
One may say that a school’s reputation does not depend on the number of bright students it produces or people who hold high posts in the Public Sector. The school is proud of the old students (ROSA) not just because they are essentially good men and women but also with sound moral character.
We follow a student-centered approach that encourages critical thinking, creativity and continuous improvement.
